February 21, 2000 By admin

One familiar motto of the Iowa Lottery is “You can’t win if you don’t play.” Well, if you have played and you didn’t win, you now have a second chance. The Lottery is launching a promotion today that enables people to send in their non-winning scratch-off tickets for a chance at winning free airfare.Iowa Lottery spokeswoman Mary Neubauer says the “Million Mile Mail-In” gives people a shot at winning one-million frequent flier miles in a drawing to be held at the end of March. She says people have to send in two non-winning scratch-off tickets from the two, three or five-dollar game categories.Neubauer says the Iowan who wins the one-million frequent flier miles will be able to do a lot of flying. The deadline for entries is March 25th.
