Highway left off state map

March 10, 2000 By admin

The new Iowa Department of Transportation map of Iowa might be a little confusing if you’re traveling south of Marshaltown. D-O-T spokesperson Dena Gray-Fisher says the line marking Highway 146 from Le Grand to Grinnell is missing from the map. Gray-Fisher says as last year’s map was updated, that stretch of highway was omitted. The D-O-T prints up to two-million of the maps each year. The maps are free and available at interstate highway rest stops, from theD-O-T and from the state tourism office.
