Fourth attempted child abduction reported in Davenport

March 22, 2000 By admin

Davenport police are searching for a man in a dark-colored pickup who has made four attempts to abduct little girls. The man targets girls on their way to elementary school. Police say he tried to lure in a nine-year old girl Tuesday morning. The girl ran away, but didn’t tell her principal until later in the day. Police say the man made two other attempts earlier this month and one in December. Police are asking parents to warn their kids to not speak to strangers.
