March 31, 2000 By admin

The survey of nurse supervisors finds most feel overwhelmed — and most supervisors believe the certified nurse assistants they oversee are over-worked, too.Di Findley of the Iowa Caregivers Association says job overload was a bigger concern than pay.Findley says the licensed nurses who responded to the survey are overwhelmed by too much government-mandated paperwork. One of the supervising nurses surveyed said one nurses assistant should care for no more than seven nursing home residents.
