Baby death near Dubuque raises questions

April 3, 2000 By admin

A two-month-old baby’s death in an Illinois home about 20-miles east of Dubuque is classified as a homicide. Jo Davies County Sheriff Steve Allendorf says one person is being held. An autopsy’s scheduled later today. Early Sunday morning, the Sheriff’s office got an emergency call, reporting a child not breathing. The baby was pronounced dead later Sunday at a hospital in Freeport, Illinois. No names have been released.
