Florida man linked to southwest Iowa murder

April 25, 2000 By admin

Southwest Iowa authorities have identified a suspect in a five-year-old murder case. Cass County Sheriff Larry Jones says 29-year old Harry Eugene Webb Junior of Florida will be charged with first-degree murder in the death of Vicki Brill of Colfax, California. Brill’s naked body was found along Interstate 80 near Wiota in January of 1995. Sheriff Jones says D-N-A samples collected from the crime scene match Webb, who is currently jailed in Florida. Webb is expected to be extradited back to Iowa.
