The athletic director at Terril High School was killed in a car wreck Tuesday morning. Brian Beyers was driving on a county road two miles west of Milford when authorities believe he lost control of the car, veered into the ditch and hit a tree. Beyers was alone in the car. He was a social studies and phys ed teacher. He was the athletic director for Terril Community Schools, which is combined with Ruthven and plays as the “Lakeland Raiders.” Beyers coached the volleyball, track and wrestling teams.
