University of Northern Iowa officials are hoping to boost attendance at Panther football games this fall and have announced they are moving some night games to afternoon and slashing some ticket prices to entice more fans into the UNI-Dome. Athletic Director Rick Hartzell says they are changing some of the start times from evening to the late afternoon.Hartzell says students encouraged the change as did the team. He says public opinion was also in favor of the change. Hartzell believes the change will improve the environment surrounding the games.Hartzell says ticket prices have been reduced for many public and student seats. Students can get a 25-dollar season pass to all games and single game ticket prices will also be lowered.U-N-I opens the season at home on August 31st against Morningside.
