It’s the Blue versus the Grey again this weekend as the Delaware County Historical Society holds its annual Civil War Days festival. The event is held at the old Lenox College campus in Hopkinton. Historical Society spokeswoman Cheryl Gates says the event helps keep the museum running. She says Lenox College is linked to the war between the states because its whole male population became soldiers. She says the college had to shut down during the war.Gates say the Civil War Days festival has a full slate of activities this weekend.One highlight is a reenactment of the Civil War’s Battle of Butternut Hill.
