Former University of Iowa standout Steve Eddie has been named the new baseball coach at Buena Vista University. Eddie was a member of Iowa’s 1990 Big Ten championship team and was an assistant at Buena Vista this past season after spending seven years as a player in the professional ranks.Eddie feels there is a lot of potential for the program and he wants to get it back to winning conference championships.Eddie hopes his experience as a player helps him make the transition.Eddie replaces Larry Anderson who is also an assistant coach for the B-V football program.
