ISU back ready to rush into the spotlight

Iowa State running back Ennis Haywood says he is ready to break out of the shadow of Darren Davis. Haywood averaged more than five yards per carry last season as a back-up to Davis and though considered a north-south runner Cyclone coach Dan McCarney says he is faster than Darren or Troy Davis.Haywood says he is ready for his turn in the spotlight and he’s trying to stay focused on what he has to do.Haywood says there is a feeling of confidence on the team.
