North Tama hits the field with a veteran team

In high school football action tonight in class 1A, sixth-ranked North Tama is at home against Garwin/G-M-G. North Tama was considered a surprise last season, finishing 10-1, but with a veteran team coach Doug Gee admits the expectations are high. Garwin G-M-G coach Mark Samek likes their prospects.In class A, second-ranked Hubbard-Radcliffe has a difficult opener, hosting Conrad/BCL-UW. Hubbard-Radcliffe coach John Pelzer says they have a lot of weapons and his team will have to play disciplined defense.
