New rail museum ready to open soon

Organizers in Marquette say the long-awaited opening of the new rail museum there is expected next week. Mary Jo Pirc is Vice President of the Marquette Action Club.She says they plan on opening the museum September 14th, although it won’t be completely finished. Pirc says the museum will feature pictures of Marquette and other historical items.Pirc is asking the public to donate historical items to their cause.Pirc says the museum will also include a state tourism section.
