Goal posts stolen from Creston field

Authorities in Creston are investigating vandalism at the town’s high school football field, which included the theft of part of a goal post. Activities director Curt Olson says it happened over the weekend. The upright bars were torn off.Olson says the repair bill won’t be cheap, it could cost two to three thousand dollars.Olson says they hope to have the post repaired in time for a junior high game on Thursday.Olson is glad there was no other damage to the facility.
