Students suspended for Internet threat

September 27, 2000 By admin

Washington High School has dealt swiftly with two students who posted a list of classmates they supposedly wanted to kill. Parents uncovered the website Sunday night. It listed five students on a “prep kill list”. On the website, the two boys said they were just joking but superintendent Kim Kreinbring says this is no laughing matter. Kreinbring says the two students involved are not troublemakers, but he says given the climate in the country, the issue had to be dealt with. Both students received a ten-day suspension.
