A northeast Iowa teacher’s job is in question after the deaths of four students. The Edgewood Colesburg school board spent much of the weekend in a private hearing trying to determine if Carol Walthart should be fired. The elementary school teacher hosted several students at an overnight campout last month. Early the following morning, four of the students were killed in an alcohol-related crash. A final decision on Walthart may come November 13th when the board reconvenes.
