It has been dubbed the “Miracle in the Mud” and in the wake of it the Central College football team prepares for the quarterfinal round of the division three national playoffs at home against St. Johns of Minnesota. The Dutch pulled off a stunning victory at Linfield of Oregon on Saturday in which Central ran for the winning touchdown in overtime after the Dutch had a game tying field goal blocked. Central coach Rich Kacmarynski says it was a fitting way to end the hard-fought game.This will be Central’s 13th game and Kacmarynski says at this point it has become a war of attrition.
