Website offers jobs for Iowans

Iowans who are job-hunting now have another place to search. A nationwide employment service has launched “BestJobsIowa.com” which offers a growing database of job openings. Diane Licht-Matheney, spokesperson for Resource Communications Incorporated in West Palm Beach, Florida, says all of the job data listed on the website is up-to-date. Licht-Matheney says some job openings listed on the website let home computer users send an electronic cover letter and an “e-resume” directly to the potential employer over the Internet. Job prospectors can focus their search on specific cities in Iowa, including Cedar Rapids, Davenport, Des Moines, Ottumwa and Sioux City.
