Church members in Luzerne decide to rebuild

The congregation of a northeast Iowa church has decided to rebuild its burned-out church.Members of the St. Paul Lutheran Church in Luzerne voted Sunday to rebuild the church on its original lot. The building, which was the only house of worship in the Benton County town of 110, burned to the ground on January 26th. The church was originally built in 1859 and was the mother church for the Missouri Synod Lutheran Church.
