Minnesota murder suspect will be extradited from Iowa

March 20, 2001 By admin

The Minnesota woman accused of murdering her daughter will be returned to that state from Iowa to face trial. 36-year-old Julie Terrell was arrested last week in Mason City after the body of her daughter, 16-year-old Lauralee Terrell, was found in the trunk of a car parked outside a Mason City home. Investigators suspect the younger Terrell died of a shotgun blast March 1st in Madison Lake, Minnesota. Terrell claims her daughter confronted her with a shotgun at their home. Police say she cut of the girl’s legs with a saw, wrapped the body in a blanket and put it in the trunk.
