Junior hockey will remain in Dubuque after the Minnesota Junior Hockey League approved an expansion franchise for the city next year. The Dubuque Fighting Saints of the United States Hockey League will relocate to Tulsa, Oklahoma, next season. M-J-H-L commissioner Phil Pascuzzi says Dubuque has been approved for an expansion franchise that will begin play in the fall.The U-S-H-L is moving into bigger markets, and Pascuzzi says that has opened up expansion opportunities for his league. The new team in Dubuque will be called the Thunderbirds.
