The wind is to blame for a weekend fire that gutted a northeast Iowa funeral home. The Reiff Funeral Home in Independence caught fire Saturday after part of a tree fell on some wires and sparked an electrical fire. The blaze was contained to a garage. Another fire from smouldering insulation broke out Sunday and leveled the building. One firefighter was hurt when part of the roof collapsed on him.
