A Drake University Professor will be teaching in Madagascar this academic year on a Fullbright Lectureship. Bruce Martin, an English professor at Drake, will teach English, as well as American culture. He says students there have little information about the English speaking world.Martin says language might be a barrier for him at first.Martin’s excited to learn about the little island republic just off the East Coast of Africa.The Fulbright Lectureship is a program that selects professors who are qualified to teach in foreign countries. Classes begin for Martin in October.
