A northeastern Iowa man is facing serious charges after recent attacks on three women in Iowa City.34-year-old Johnnie Lee Jones, of Waterloo, is charged with attacking a woman at University Hospitals in Iowa City. He appeared Monday in Johnson County Court and was charged with assault with intent to commit sexual abuse causing injury. Jones allegedly attacked the woman in an elevator August 5th. He’s also accused in two other attacks on women that same night but hasn’t been formally charged.
