McCarney says Cyclones are healthy after early practices

Iowa State coach Dan McCarney says the Cyclones came out of two-a-day drills healthy. The Cyclones open the season September eighth at home against U-N-I.McCarney says from an attitude and work ethic standpoint, this year’s team is similar to last year’s, but he says they’re not as far along experience wise this year.McCarney says the newcomers just need game experience right now.McCarney says there are some true freshman that could see playing time this year, mainly on defense.
