There are some changes in the RI football poll after week one

There is one new top ranked team in the latest Radio Iowa high school football poll.Defending champion Southern call moves to the top of the 1A survey after previously top ranked Aplington-Parkersburg dropped a season opener to Dike-new Hartford, the second ranked team in class 2A. West Lyon is second. A-P is third then its Wapsie Valley and Laurens Marathon. The other top ranked teams remain the same in fact the top five remain in 4A. West Des Moines Dowling is top ranked then its Iowa City High , Bettendorf, Davenport Assumption and West Des Moines Valley. Harlan leads in 3A followed by Fairfield. Grinnell is third and Creston moves ahead of Clear Lake into fourth. Emmetsburg is top ranked in 2A. Dike New Hartford second then is Sigourney Keota, Mount Vernon and Denver. Hubbard Radcliffe remains top ranked in class A, Manning is second followed by West Bend Mallard, IKM Manilla and Northwood-Kensett. Elk Horn Kimballton leads the 1A poll. Adair Casey is second, Aurelia third, Sentral of Fenton is fourth and Melcher Dallas is fifth.
