The Drake-Dayton matchup normally is for the Pioneer Football League championship but this season is an exception. A 17-7 loss at Valparaiso last week knocked the Bulldogs out of contention for the North Division title and coach Rob Ash’s team will now try to play the role of spoiler against the unbeaten Flyers. Ash says while the championship is not on the line, the rivalry remains. Ash says one of the keys’s will be slowing down Dayton’s explosive option attack.
