Man in spandex, woman in cat suit start a bar brawl

November 1, 2001 By admin

A Halloween bar bash in Iowa City turned ugly last night. Iowa City police found a Sports-Column staffer with multiple puncture wounds after getting poked with a pen. The manager says bouncers removed the offender, but he came back and tried to enter the bar. A female companion then reportedly went on a ballpoint-pen rampage of her own. Police say she was wearing a cheetah suit. A man wearing black spandex pants with white underwear on top fled the bar, with a woman in a cat suit. The bouncer was treated and released.
