November 2, 2001 By admin

Two Dallas County residents are facing drug charges after a traffic stop. A Dallas County deputy stopped the pickup because it ran a stop sign and didn’t have its headlights on. Inside the truck were several containers of methamphetamine and ingredients to make more. A search was performed at one of the two suspect’s houses near Adel, where authorities found more meth and ingredients. 41-year-old John Beghtol of Adel and 36-year-old Michael Benton of Van Meter. Both are held on bonds just over a half-million dollars.
