New jobs could come to Davenport Oscar Meyer plant

Wisconsin’s loss could be eastern Iowa’s gain and that’s no bologna.The Oscar Meyer in Davenport may get up to 40 new jobs as the company moves production of its “Lunchables” from Madison, Wisconsin, over the next few months. The Davenport plant was chosen because of its assembly line efficiency and because it produced the pre-packaged lunchmeat meals when they first came out.
