Farley wants UNI to go where no Panther has gone before

December 11, 2001 By admin

In his first season as coach, Mark Farley hopes to lead U-N-I’s football team to a place it has never been, the one-double-a national championship game. Farley says, “We’ve all knocked on that door and come up short.” Farley says everyone can name the plays that led to UNI coming up short.Farley says not only is Montana top-ranked, it is the elite program in one-double-a. He says they are the team to beat. Farley says this game has a tremendous amount of meaning, as the Panthers have never made it to the championship game.
