A Quad City murder case is moving forward in court, despite a language barrier. The suspect in the Davenport murder will go to trial February 4th. 26-year-old Juan Lozano is accused in the July 2001 murder of 29-year-old Jacinto Caldera of Moline, Illinois. Lozano was in court yesterday to enter a plea to charges of second-degree murder and terrorism. Scott County Attorney Bill Davis says Lozano was NOT able to enter a plea due to “cultural differences.” Davis says the county provided a translator but that didn’t help.
