B-V looks to stay unbeaten

In Iowa Conference men’s basketball action, Buena Vista looks to remain unbeaten in league play at home against Luther. B-V coach Brian Van Haaften says his team has made great strides since the beginning of the season.The Beavers are shooting above 50-percent from the field but Van Haaften says the most impressive stat is on the defensive end where they are holding opponents to an average of 39-percent shooting. Van Haaften says solid defense will give them a chance to win every night. He says they also have been able to rebound the ball well.
