Eustachy not surprised by Knight’s success at Tech

Iowa State visits Texas Tech tomorrow in the Big-12. At 15-4 overall, the Red Raiders are considered a surprise but Cyclone coach Larry Eustachy says with Bob Knight at the helm, they are not a surprise to him. He says Knight brought in some players, and there was more talent on the team than people thought. And he says there’s lots of excitement around the program which helps.Iowa State has dropped six straight games. Eustachy says the Cyclones are playing hard and he hopes one of these close games goes their way.
