The U-S-led war on terrorism may -not- have to carry over into nations beyond Afghanistan, according to Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley. Despite the recent deaths of American soldiers, Grassley says the emphasis the U-S has put on Afghanistan is shocking other countries into compliance.Already, the Yemen government is cooperating in the arresting of terrorists while warlords in the country of anarchy, Somalia, are also helping us in that effort. Grassley says he’s optimistic the U-S will not have to send military forces into other nations, including Sudan, Iran and Iraq. Grassley says those countries might come around to consider if they really want to face the U.S.Grassley disagrees with others in Congress who’ve said the war will be over with the death of Osama bin Laden. Grassley says the military effort won’t be complete until all nations stop harboring terrorists.
