Man needs stitches after dog attack in shelter

March 16, 2002 By admin

A Clinton man was injured by a wayward dog at an animal shelter. 58-year-old Bob Bray suffered cuts and bruises to his face after he tried to pet a mastiff which had been brought to the Humane Society for Adoption. The dog was being led through the building when Bray reached down to pet the animal and was attacked without warning. Bray had to have 38 stitches to close his wounds. Clinton police say no charges will be filed in the case.
