April 19, 2002 By admin

Cleanup is underway this morning after severe weather cut across central and eastern Iowa last night. There were at least six funnel cloud reports around the region with damage reported to farm buildings, trees and power lines in Jones and Buchanan counties. A three-story building under construction in Jesup collapsed in the strong winds but no injuries are reported.
