Eastern Iowa student killed in crash

May 9, 2002 By admin

A high-school student was killed this morning in a car crash in rural Scott County. 17-year-old Drew Dodds of Donahue died at the scene, when his car rolled over on a gravel road. Officials say a blown tire may have triggered the 7:15 accident. Deputies say Dodds was headed home, then to North Scott High School at Eldridge. He was alone in the car. Another North Scott student died in a traffic accident in January.
