Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley plans to hold town meetings in five Iowa hospitals next week to discuss health care with Iowans. Grassley says it’s being well publicized that Iowa medical professionals aren’t getting the same size Medicare reimbursement checks as in other states.Grassley wants to hear Iowans’ opinions on affordable health care, Medicare and prescription drugs. He says the under-reimbursements are threatening the quality of health care in rural America.On May 30th, Grassley has meetings scheduled in Estherville at 8 A-M, in Emmetsburg at 10 A-M and in Humboldt at 2 P-M. On May 31st, meetings are scheduled for Corydon at 1:45 P-M and Centerville at 3:45 P-M.
