UNI softball player named All-American

University of Northern Iowa third baseman Lindsay Wood has been named to the Louisville Slugger Softball All-American team. The senior from Eldridge is the only Missouri Valley Conference Player on any of the honor teams. She was a five-time MVC player of the week, while leading the league in batting average, hits, runs and stolen bases.Kristin Johnson of Iowa was named to the third team.
