The annual “Fur Takers of America” national convention is back in Iowa for the first time since 1991. The event runs through Sunday at the Delaware County Fairgrounds in Manchester. F-T-A boardmember Dave Plueger of Monticello is one of the co-chairs of the convention. Plueger says they expect a record turnout. He says they could see four to six thousand people come through the gate from all over the country.
