ConAgra cuts the cheese workers at its Fredericksburg plant

June 18, 2002 By admin

A northeast Iowa factory is cutting a large portion of its staff. ConAgra Foods in Fredericksburg, which produces cheese products, is eliminating one-third of its workforce. The company employs 300 people and is cutting 100 jobs due to an overstock of cheese in the market. Workers at the plant come from the Summer, Fredericksburg and New Hampton area.
