Iowan seeks Nashville contract

July 2, 2002 By admin

A woman from the north-central Iowa town of Sheffield is among thirty people nationwide taking part in a contest to win a Nashville recording contract. Contemporary Christian singer Danyell Tielke will sing in Branson, Missouri, on July 14th in a live performance that’ll be recorded and put on the Internet. Anyone with a computer can see the other performances too and vote for their favorite at “www.wcin.ac”. The top 15 vote getters will go to Nashville to further compete for the 100-thousand dollar recording session.
