There are no changes among the leaders this week in the Radio Iowa/Coaches Association high school baseball poll.Council Bluffs Lewis Central holds down the top spot in Class 4A again this week after a few close ballgames where they came from behind to win. Marshalltown and Dubuque Wahlert are two and three, then it’s North Scott up two pegs to fourth and Des Moines Lincoln holding at five. Class 3A saw Oelwein and Cedar Rapids Xavier stay in the top two spots, then it was a scramble as Vinton-Shellsburg moved from fourth to third, Knoxville from fifth to fourth and Dallas Center-Grimes drops from third to fifth. Emmetsburg is again atop 2A, followed by Wilton, Cascade, Pekin and Westwood-Sloan. The top three, Mason City Newman, West Harrison and Martensdale St. Mary’s are the same in class 1A. Lansing Kee moves up one spot to fourth and defending-champion Granville Spalding rounds out the top five. The final 2A-1A poll is next week before they hit tournament play.
