July 6, 2002 By admin

A close call for an over-the-road driver in some dangerous weather.A semi-truck driver escaped injury late Friday afternoon when strong winds from a rapidly-developing thunderstorm flipped over his rig as he was traveling on U-S Highway 151 in Linn County. Robert Dyson of Albion, Indiana, was traveling east of Springville when his unloaded semi tractor-trailer got caught in strong winds and overturned. It slowed down traffic for a time before the semi was removed. The accident remains under investigation.
