No charges have been filed, but Davenport police say there’s been a confession in the drive-by shooting death of 9-year-old Deanna Shipp. A search warrant filed in Scott County says 18-year-old Bryan Shuford has admitted to being in one of two cars involved in the July 21st shooting. It says he also has admitted to being one of the shooters. The victim is from Madison, Wisconsin. She was shot and killed while attending an outdoor wedding celebration in central Davenport with her parents. Seven Davenport men, including Shubert, are being held as material witnesses. The search warrant says three of the men being held fingered Shubert. Police say they found a handgun, bullets and a bulletproof vest while searching his home.
