Swisher man faces new charge after woman’s death

More charges could be filed after a Cedar Rapids woman died from injuries she suffered in an accident.35-year-old Teresa Osburn died late Wednesday afternoon from injuries she received when their car was struck by a pickup Tuesday. Osburn gave birth to her fourth son shortly after the accident. The baby boy is reported in good condition. Osburn’s husband, 41-year-old Robert Osburn, was treated and released. The driver of the pickup, 44-year-old Galen Ludvicek of Swisher, was charged with drunk driving, and could now face a charge of homicide by vehicle.
