August 29, 2002 By admin

The hunt continues for two 14-year-old girls believed to be involved in the theft of three cars in central Iowa yesterday. Police believe the girls took the first vehicle in Stuart, and then later stole the second vehicle in Menlo. The vehicle allegedly stolen from Menlo was later found abandoned in Carroll County and it’s believe the tow girls the stole the third vehicle in the Coon Rapids area. Stuart police chief Carroll Rayburn says it’s only a matter of time before the two teens are caught. The vehicles reported stolen from Stuart and Coon Rapids have not been recovered.
