One of the oldest buildings in Boone was hit by fire last night.The building in downtown was fully engulfed in flames when firefighters arrived about 7 P-M. The three-story, brick structure housed a dance studio on the first floor and apartments above. One apartment was gutted, the other was heavily damaged, while the studio sustained heavy smoke and water damage. No one was hurt. The fire’s cause is under investigation.
