A Cedar Rapids man is sentenced to ten years in prison after a drunk-driving crash that killed a northeast Iowa woman last spring. 28-year-old Shane Fettkether was sentenced in Linn County District Court after pleading guilty to vehicular homicide last month. Fettkether was driving on Highway 13 near Coggin April 23 when he lost control of his pickup and crashed, killing his passenger, 22-year-old Celena Harrison of Fredericksburg. Fettkether was also ordered to pay a one-thousand-dollar fine, court costs, other charges and 150-thousand dollars victim restitution to Harrison’s estate.
